- Represented a European IT company in filing a notification under the Telecommunications Business Act with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and continue to act as its domestic legal representative.
- Served as an expert researcher and contributor to a government-commissioned study and report for the Digital Agency on the digitalization of legislative processes and the effective use of statutory data.
Startups & Fundraising
- Acted as legal counsel to an AI-related startup in its Series B and C equity financings.
- Represented the founder of an IT startup in an exit transaction through a share exchange, serving as counsel for the founder.
Content & Media
- Assisted a U.S.-based software vendor in its entry into the Japanese market, including subsidiary incorporation, joint development agreements, and employment matters.
- Advised a U.S.-based e-commerce company on the construction of its logistics system, drafting delivery agreements and terms of use.
- Drafted and advised on a payment services system development agreement for a Korean IT company entering Japan.
- Advised an EdTech company on its core business documentation, including system development agreements, terms of service, and related contracts.
